We are honored to welcome Bryant Amberlang, CEO of Silver Ventures, as our keynote speaker for this special event, alongside Iñigo Arzac, Vice President of Commercial Banking at Wells Fargo and one of our board members, serving as moderator for this special event.

Keynote Speaker Biography: Bryant Ambelang, CEO of Silver Ventures, a company whose vision is to continuously transform San Antonio, TX through repeatedly reinventing the shared experience of food and learning. Prior to his role at Silver Ventures, Bryant was President and CEO of NatureSweet Brands, LTD., the largest greenhouse producer of the best tasting tomatoes in the world, under such brands as Cherubs®, Comets™, Constellation™ & Glorys®. Operating seven facilities, six in Mexico and one in the U.S. Bryant and his wife, Mary, are parents to five children, grandparents to two beautiful baby girls and one baby boy!

Moderator Biography: 

Inigo Arzac is the Vice President of Business Development for Wells Fargo, covering San Antonio and South Texas including the Rio Grande Valley, and Laredo. A natural connector of people and organizations, Inigo develops and grows relationships for the bank in collaboration with the many resources and national partners Wells Fargo has to offer Inigo began his banking career two decades ago as a banker with Citibank where he worked 9 years, and his last position was Vice President and Relationship Manager for the San Antonio Area. In 2009 Inigo transitioned to the public sector working as International Affairs Manager for the City of San Antonio in charge of Global Trade & Investment, a role where he established many great relationships locally and abroad. Returning to the private sector, Inigo managed Sales and Business Development in 35 countries for GlobaSCAPE Software. After 7 years of successful entrepreneurial endeavors in real estate development and wine importing, Inigo joined Wells Fargo in 2021 as the bank officer in charge of business development.

Born in Torreon, Mexico, Inigo moved to San Antonio when he was 10. He is a graduate of Winston Churchill High School and the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in International Business. Passionate about community service, Inigo is involved with the Witte Museum, World Affairs Council, Leadership San Antonio (34, 35 & 40) and his Alma Mater UTSA where he serves on the Dean’s Council at the Alvarez College of Buisness. He and his wife, Iliana Arzac, have two children, Inigo II & Ixander.

The mission of the World Affairs Council of San Antonio is to promote public understanding of world affairs and United States foreign policy, and to enhance the ability of its citizens and future leaders to participate in a global community. We accomplish our mission by presenting a lecture series, holding receptions, organizing discussion groups, sponsoring educational outreach programs, and hosting deliberative sessions for young professionals.
