Professional Biography: Lorie K. Logan is the 14th president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where she leads nearly 1,400 employees across the Eleventh Federal Reserve District—serving Texas, northern Louisiana, and southern New Mexico.
Appointed in August 2022, she represents the district on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) and will serve as a voting member in 2026. President Logan oversees the Bank’s core functions, including economic research, banking supervision, financial stability, and community engagement.
A champion of public service and inclusive policymaking, she launched the Global Institute—focused on U.S.-Mexico relations—and revived the Global Perspectives speaker series. Her ongoing 360 Listening Tour brings her into direct dialogue with business and community leaders to inform policy decisions.
Before joining the Dallas Fed, she spent over two decades at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she managed the Fed’s securities portfolio and played a key role in the response to both the COVID-19 pandemic and the Global Financial Crisis.
A recognized expert on the Federal Reserve’s balance sheet, President Logan holds degrees from Davidson College and Columbia University. She also serves on advisory boards for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the SMU Cox School of Business.
