Dr. Eric Ndibang Tah
Also known as Shufaay Dr. Tah, he is a respected community leader, cultural ambassador, and seasoned IT professional. Holding a Doctorate in Information Technology, Dr. Tah currently serves as Vice President of the San Antonio Veterans Soccer Club. A proud enstooled Shufaay (traditional title holder), he actively promotes cultural heritage and unity within the Cameroonian diaspora. Dr. Tah is also a 14-year U.S. Navy Veteran, a passionate public speaker, and a mentor dedicated to service and empowerment. He has been a resident of San Antonio since 2019.
Dr. Lyzete Talla
Dr. Talla is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). With over two decades in nursing and more than a decade as a nurse practitioner, she is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, expert, and patient-focused care.
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Capella University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Texas A&M University. She is the founder and CEO of Amour Family Clinic in San Antonio, where she provides primary care and weight management services. Dr. Talla is known for her thoughtful and methodical approach to care, taking time to listen and tailor personalized care plans for each patient.
Dr. Pride Abongwa
An Assistant Professor of Geoscience at Texas A&M University, Dr. Abongwa earned his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University, a Master’s from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands, and a Bachelor’s from the University of Buea in Cameroon. He also serves as President of the San Antonio Veterans Football Club (SAVET FC), reflecting his strong commitment to academic and community engagement.
Dr. Heinrich Y. Edimo
Dr. Edimo is a renowned wealth strategist, mentor, lecturer, and real estate investor. Originally from Cameroon, he is a powerful advocate for financial literacy and economic empowerment in Black and minority communities. He is the founder of WealthSmart LLC, a platform providing financial education and strategic planning.
Holding a Doctorate in Business Administration and Management Information Systems, Dr. Edimo has advised public and private organizations—including over 15 Fortune 500 companies—on economic development, digital innovation, and inclusive growth. He is widely respected for translating complex financial concepts into practical strategies that drive community transformation.
Mr. Brian Chongwain
Brian Chongwain is an experienced IT Consultant and Database Administrator with a passion for technology, cultural preservation, and community development. Originally from Kom in Cameroon’s Northwest Region, Brian blends technical expertise with cultural advocacy.
He has supported various organizations in optimizing enterprise data systems and cloud technologies, while also mentoring aspiring IT professionals in Cameroon and the U.S. Brian is an active proponent of Com culture and continues to play a vital role in community-building initiatives that bridge tradition with innovation.

Mr. Emmanuel Galabe
Emmanuel Galabe is the President and Board Chair of ComMiGen and hails from the Northwest Region of Cameroon. A devoted husband and father, he is a Senior Database Administrator with aspirations of becoming an IT expert. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Management, as well as a BBA in Insurance and Security. Emmanuel is a firm believer in unity and equality for all people.

Dr. Christopher Fomunyoh
Dr. Fomunyoh is the Senior Associate for Africa and Senior Advisor to the President at the National Democratic Institute (NDI). He has organized and advised international election observation missions to multiple African countries including Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.
With a distinguished record in democracy support programs across the continent, he has worked closely with civic organizations, political parties, and legislative bodies in over 20 countries. Regularly engaging with heads of state, government officials, and civic leaders, Dr. Fomunyoh recently designed and helped launch the African Statesmen Initiative, further cementing his role as a leading voice in democracy promotion and governance in Africa.
