Young Professional Community Leader Series: Featuring U.S. Representative Will Hurd

Congressman Hurd joined the World Affairs Council of San Antonio's Young Professionals at the Paramour in downtown San Antonio as our guest speaker on July 19th.

Congressman Hurd graciously spoke about a number of relevant topics in global affairs.

After introducing himself, Hurd spoke briefly about his political career and then about his career at CIA.

Congressman Hurd also spoke about tensions between the United States and Iran, an aggressive Russian sovereign and the humanitarian crisis on the U.S. Mexico border. 

Congressman Hurd also spoke about the need for U.S. politicians to be more in tune with technology related policy issues.

After his talk Congressman Hurd took questions from the audience about countering terrorism, the United States Intelligence Community leadership and his policies on the U.S. Mexico humanitarian crisis.
