CHINA Town Hall connects leading China experts with Americans around the country for a national conversation on the implications of China’s rise on U.S.-China relations and its impact on our towns, states, and nation. UTSA Global Initiatives is proud to partner with The National Committee to bring this important national conversation to the UTSA community.

Join us for a webcast with renowned investor, philanthropist and New York Times best-selling author Ray Dalio for the CHINA Town Hall keynote (6pm-7pm CST) on the forces that underpin the most important global issues of our time, and the critical roles of the United States and China in an era of monumental worldwide change. After the national conversation we will have a Q&A panel with local experts which will be moderated by Dr. Xiaohe Xu, Professor of Sociology at UTSA (7pm-8pm CST). After the national conversation. With guest speakers Tommy Calvert, elected Bexar County Commissioner for Precinct 4 in 2014 and one of five chief executives of county government, and David Firestein, inaugural president and CEO of the George H. W.
